3 Best Esports World Championship 2024

Esports has seen tremendous growth in recent years, and the industry is expected to continue its upward trajectory in 2024. The world of competitive gaming is home to numerous championships and events, some more popular than others. This may be due to the nature of the game or the community that surrounds it. But one constant among them is that these events bring together the best players worldwide to compete for glory, prestige, and large cash prizes. In this article, we'll look at these three world championships and what makes them the cream of the crop in the esports world.

Table of Contents
  1. Pokémon VGC - Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
  2. Rage – Shadowverse
  3. EVO Championship – Guilty Gear Strive

Few franchises can claim that they have remained the same since their debut, and with good reason, as change brings improvement and growth. But out of all of them, only Pokémon can claim to have retained its core gameplay loop and success. This is due to the game evolving organically alongside the community, which has led to the latest release of Pokémon Violet and Scarlet. These games have done what many thought impossible: making Pokémon go open world, increasing the immersion, and providing a change from the usual routes and stale encounters. Combat has also been tweaked to make it far more face passed and more in line with the official meta of the esports VCG.

The Pokémon VGC (Video Game Championships) Finals 2022 took place on December 17th and 18th, 2022. IT brought together the best Pokémon trainers from around the world to compete in the popular Pokémon video game series. The 2022 VGC Finals featured intense battles between skilled trainers using teams of 6 Pokémon chosen from a pool of eligible Pokémon in the current generation. The tournament rules included a strict time limit and a limited number of healing items, adding to the pressure and strategy involved in each match. VCG 2022 also had a massive prize pool of $51,500, which gave the players ample motivation. The Pokémon VGC Finals 2022 was a thrilling showcase of the competitive aspect of the Pokémon video game series, with players showing their skills, strategy, and sportsmanship. The best way is to stick to social media of those game devs to get such info, but the problem is you need to follow them and may not be convenient way unless you are very much used to social medias, i guess? Well, probably we can publish monthly news about latest upcoming esports tournaments that have higher prize pool than certain amount of prize pool we set.
