3 Best Free Anime Games 2024
Nothing beats the feeling of getting a free game and finding it out to be THE BEST amongst all the recent games you’ve tried.
However, as it happens, getting on hands on a great free game is easier said than done. Today’s gaming world is filled with countless free-to-play titles but they offer little to no addictive gameplay mechanics to keep players coming back and wanting for more. Nevertheless, it is not to say that such best free anime games don’t exist.
In this article, we list 3 such games that should be on every gamer’s must-try list.

We start with Genshin Impact. Not only this RPG by miHoYo is the highest-grossing game ever but also the most downloaded one on iOS. As of today, it is available to play for free on a wide range of platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Android, and iOS.
Genshin Impact undoubtedly excels in all categories. From deep lore and stunning visuals to addictive gameplay and a richly crafted world, this RPG has it all. Its gacha mechanics even have generous drop rates for rare to legendary items. What keeps this game alive is the ever-rolling out of new updates that refresh almost every aspect of the game, making it an ever-green experience for players.

Set in the fictional fantasy world of Teyvat, players find themselves searching for their lost sibling with whom they get separated shortly before they land on Teyvat, the land of seven nations. Each nation is ruled by an elemental god called Archon.
Like a typical RPG, Genshin Impact lets you level up your character’s stats, play in a coop mode with up to 4 players, and perform many different actions like running, climbing, swimming, and gliding; to name a few! To prevent any spoilers, we now leave this best free anime game to you to try out and be amazed by its captivating universe!

Moving on, next on our list of the best free anime games is the ever-strategic Eternal Return. It was developed in 2020 by Nimble Neuron as a clever combination of survival crafting and battle royale. The game is free to play and is currently available on Windows only for players to try out!
Unlike Genshin Impact, Eternal Return takes a completely different approach. Instead of a highly adventurous journey, every step you take in Eternal Return will either contribute to your survival or execution. In any game match, you are put on a remote Lumia Island divided into 16 distinct zones. Here, you battle out against 23 other players as well as ferocious creatures lurking around corners and unexpected places.

In Eternal Return, distinct areas get restricted instead of a traditional closing circle. You make use of various craftable items while battling your way to the top. Each of the currently 79 characters is unique, boasting unique power and ability skillsets. What’s more? The roster gets updated every now and then, making the game even more strategic.
So, get ready to test your survival skills on this mysterious Lumia Island and see if you can outsmart 23 other players who also have the same goal as you: Be The Last One Standing!

Onmyoji Arena is a welcoming free game for fans of the MOBA genre. It was developed in 2017 by NetEase Games for mobile platforms Android and iOS as a free-to-play MOBA game.
Live every major MOBA out there, Onmyoji Arena is a team-based 5V5 game but instead of heroes or champions, you find Shikigamis. These are spirits based on Japanese mythology and each Skikigami comes with its own set of abilities. Shikigamis possess 3 standard skills and one ultimate skill. Upon usage, there is a cooldown timer before a player can reuse the skill.

In any Onmyoji battle, two teams of five battle out with the ultimate goal of destroying the enemy base. There is only one map in the game and has the 3 lanes typical to any MOBA game: top, bottom, and mid. All lanes lead to Nexus, the central structure which players have to destroy in order to claim victory.
So, what Shikigami class will suit you the most? Will it be the melee fighters, Samurai, or spell casters known as Mages? Ninja is not a bad deal for agility and Marksman can take on targets from afar. Play this best free anime game now to find your perfect playstyle!
