Esports has become a global phenomenon, and with it, the prize money for tournaments has also significantly increased. In 2023, several esports are expected to have some of the highest prize pools in the industry. DOTA 2, in this regard, stands out the most as its internationals 2021 had a prize pool of $40,018,400, the highest ever in the industry’s history. But MOBA isn’t the only genre in esports, and in recent years we have seen a massive increase of genres entering the esports scene. This genre ranges from battle royales to even card battlers. This article will list some of the biggest tournaments in these genres that esports fans are bound to enjoy.

The Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2021 Tournament was the peak of the competitive Shadowverse CCG, featuring top players from all over the world competing for a chance to get the massive prize. The tournament had a prize pool of $ 2,293,296.20, making it one of the largest in the card game community.

Shadowverse CCG is a digital collectible card game (CCG) developed by Cygames. The game features various characters and cards from different classes, such as Dragon craft, Forest craft, Swordcraft, and more. Each class has its unique playstyle, abilities, and strategies. Players use their decks to battle against other players, using a combination of creature summons, spells, and special abilities to outmaneuver and defeat their opponents. One of the main appeals of Shadowverse CCG is its strategic depth and the constant evolution of the meta-game. The game features regular updates and expansions, introducing new cards and strategies, keeping the game fresh and exciting for players. Additionally, the game has a wide range of modes, from casual to competitive, that allows players to enjoy the game according to their preferences.

Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals 2019-20 was the pinnacle of the competitive Dragon Ball FighterZ scene, featuring top players from around the world competing for a massive prize pool. The tournament featured a prize pool of $80,000, making it one of the largest in the fighting game community. Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 2D fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco. The game features a roster of characters from the popular Dragon Ball series. It allows players to engage in fast-paced, high-flying battles using a variety of special moves and super attacks. The game has a unique 3v3 team battle system, allowing players to select a team of three characters to fight against their opponents.

The Eternal Return, Season 7 Tournament finale, was the culmination of the competitive Eternal Return scene, featuring top players from its worldwide community competing for a massive prize pool. The tournament had a prize pool of 10 million Won or $8,123, making it one of the biggest ever in Eternal Returns history.

Eternal Return is a battle royale game developed by the South Korean studio Nimble Neuron. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where players must fight to survive against each other and the environment. The game features a unique "Blackout" mechanic, where a deadly storm gradually closes in on the map, forcing players to fight for survival in a shrinking play area.
