I feel like mechas are in lack of skills. I mean, # of skills. They usually have 4 skills, but in most case one of it is basically jumping so it feels like there are only 3 skills. This is what I do think making game combat kinda too simple, making players more focuses on aiming rather in order to increase their performances. But as you see, relying on aiming skills works for FPS games...
