Hello everyone 7u7
I'm here again to come and bring information and recommendation about another manga that I really like... and that I think a lot of people don't know about the play, since it didn't actually get good reviews when its animated adaptation aired.
In this case I will talk about 'Killing Bites' ... A manga written by Shinya Murata, and illustrated by Kazasa Sumita; which was first published in 2013.
History tells us how in modern Japan there are still the 4 powers of Zaibatsu, which make bets that determine the economic flow of the country. These bets are called "Killing Bites" and in them they fight to the death genetically modified people, who are called "Brutes" and have powers equivalent to real animals with which they have been genetically altered.
And the story puts us nomoto Yuya, a rather mediocre university student (I remember me for a second xd) who for quite "inadequate" reasons gets to know a girl named Hitomi Uzaki, a girl who actually turns out to be a Brute (But not just any Brute, but the brute with the most powerful animal gene considered by nature).
From this event Nomoto is involved in all kinds of events related to Killing Bites with Hitomi... what would Nomoto have in store for the future with his own life at risk every minute?
I invite you to read the manga to find out... the story is quite interesting and informative, since with the introduction of each different Brute, they always include an explanation related to the characteristics of the animal to which the character is linked; and in addition to that, the manga turns out to be a rather curious seinen with an easy to "digest" theme.
Although it is true that the 2018 adaptation did not have good reviews; that does not change the fact that it is still a very good work to read in free time... The story follows a relatively slow pace, since the chapters do not come out as often as with other manga series on the market, but nevertheless it is worth reading it and spending some time to delve into the story.
If you want to see the most recent chapters of the manga (In Japanese obviously) you can access it from its official website. The chapters have free access, although unfortunately only in their original language.
If you want to talk more about manga or mangakas that you like, you can do it here.
