I was in Northeast Asia in the late 90's. At the time, you could go to the arcade center to play games, or go to the game store to play games at home by buying the games and consoles you wanted. I did both, usually go arcade center when I needed competitive gaming, otherwise playing games at home. But what was most remarkable and exciting was that if there was a blockage while playing the game, I went to the bookstore and looked at the game magazine's solution to solve the problem. If I couldn't buy the magazine because I didn't have money, I just read it in the bookstore. The advantage of purchasing the magazine was that most game magazines at the time gave a CD containing several computer games as an appendix when purchasing. In CD, the latest games of less than 2~3 years are usually included, so it was very useful and enjoyable.
In the 21st century, all the solutions related to games could be found simply on the Internet, so there is no need to do such things anymore, but anyway, it was a pleasant memory.
What are your precious memories of your gaming?
