[PvP] [Aegis Knight/Dance of Wind] Osprey
#1


OVERVIEW
This build focuses on hit-and-run style that comes with fast attack, and dodge or defense. You can use it when you want to inflict damage to your opponent while keeping yourself safe.

SLOT VARIANTS
  1. Iron Will may be replaced with your own choice
  2. All 6 minor Karmas at the bottom of the selection menu such as Decrease Cooldown, Buff Duration Increase, etc may be replaced with your own choices
USAGE
  • You will utilize lots of bow attacks mainly than Sword/Shield for this build.
  • Use Raining Arrows only if any of your enemies isn't focusing you, especially a case like other allies are fighting while you are not noticed.
  • Storming Arrow is a good choice when there is a little distance between you and your enemy. You can use it during the fight which you are already noticed.
  • Following Longbow strategy is effective when your enemy is getting close to you - (1) Inflict Binding Arrow if possible, this process can be skipped. (2) Jump backward (3) In the air, click fire button 3 times so that you will backflip one more backward when your attack in the air is done. This also knock down your enemy in a good chance.
  • When you are unable to access any skills of longbow but your enemy is very close, you can switch to Aegis Knight in order to fight effectively in a close combat situation.
  • When you can't use any skills but enemy is close, defend yourself using a shield.
  • To change the flow of battle from defensive to offensive, you can use the Charge or Shield Counter skills.
  • If you are in a dangerous situation, activate the Iron Will skill. After it got activated, try to inflict your enemy airborne after 3 consecutive hits of normal melee.
  • After successful hit of Charge skill, there is a certain probability that you can inflict the normal melee x3 + airborne combo.

COUNTERS
  • Any long-ranged types that have CC effects like stun, because they will hinder your longbow attacks frequently.

Better response on post RE: [Aegis Knight/Dance of Wind] OspreyThe build is honestly a pretty decent build. I will say though, iron will is definitely, well I wouldn't personally recommend it. I usually run Battlecry/Warcry (I always forget the name), Thunderous Charge, and Counter. Though Thunderous Charge could be swapped out for shield throw or shield pull. Otherwise I think the rest is pretty good. Maybe the shield ult 1 (Land Slasher), could be replaced for the ult 2 (Land Crusher), just because Land Crusher gives a guaranteed catch, and Land Slasher is punishable on whiff while Land Crusher generally isn't.

By repeating this you will somehow get teammates.

However, make sure that there is a chance that the game will forcibly put you into solo "after the game started".
In that case you will anyways get penalty when you leave. But I see this case happens very rarely, especially when there is no other players.

It's a tanky and effective build against swordsmans, but very vulnerable to other gunners.

It's recommended to use when your enemy is a sword main or is using a sword.

Ps the aim of it is too heal asap once the avoid instant death kicks in
