OVERVIEW
This build focuses on hit-and-run style that comes with quick attack and frequent evading using longbow, and fight effectively when it finally comes to close combat using sword/shield. Difference from Osprey build is that it focuses a bit more on combo aspect and the damage & evasion side of longbow.
SLOT VARIANTS
- Charge may be replaced with your own choice
- All 6 minor Karmas at the bottom of the selection menu such as Decrease Cooldown, Buff Duration Increase, etc may be replaced with your own choices
- Use Raining Arrow or Binding Arrow if any of your enemies isn't focusing on you, especially a case like other allies are fighting while you are not noticed, or have a good distance between you and enemy so that you can dodge immediately after inflicting this.
- Following strategy is effective when your enemy is close to you with a little distance when you use a longbow at the moment - (1) Jump backward and click fire button 3 times so that you will backflip one more backward when your attack in the air is done. This also knocks down your enemy in a good chance by hitting only 1 out of 3 arrows. (2) Immediately use Raining Arrow or Binding Arrow upon downed enemy.
- Following strategy is effective when your enemy is way too close to you and you use a longbow at the moment - (1) Inflict "Shift+S+LMB, which you will dash backward immediately => RMB 2 times" combo (2) Inflict "LMB 2 times => RMB => Space => Hold LMB" the basic longbow combo, and do this one more if possible. You will need to dash front quickly if 2nd attempt won't reach to your enemy. (3) Use Raning Arrow or Binding Arrow upon downed enemy.
- Whenever you see stationary enemy, use Siege mode of longbow.
- You can continuously inflict basic sword/shield combo (3x LMB => RMB => Space => 3x LMB => RMB) as long as you have stamina. However, if you feel like you can't continue to inflict this combo next time, use Pulling skill so that it will charge your stamina a little bit, and keep next basic sword/shield combo. Not just Pulling skill, but you can switch Charge skill to Battlecry or Thunderous Charge skill in order to make same effect of Pulling skill.
- When you are unable to access any skills of longbow but your enemy is very close, you can switch to Aegis Knight in order to fight effectively in a close combat situation.
- When you can't use any skills but enemy is close, defend yourself using a shield, step back, and change weapon.
- "Shield Defense => Pulling skill" is also good combo.
- After Shield Counter skill successfully made a counter, "W button 2 times + LMB => Space => Basic sword/shield combo" is also good.
- To change the flow of battle from defensive to offensive, you can use the Charge or Shield Counter skills.
- After successful hit of Charge skill, there is a certain probability that you can inflict basic sword/shield combo.
- Longbow's elite skill has more range than, but less damage than, sword/shield's. Use appropriate elite skill depending on your situation.
- Any long-ranged types that have CC effects like stun, because they will hinder your longbow attacks frequently.
