Unleash the Mayhem With the Makeship Plushies of Guilty Gear Strive
Figure 1. Guilty Gear Strive
The name Guilty Gear is now synonymous with the world-quality and high-class fighting game. But such was not the case back in the early days of gaming as compared to other series Guilty Gear was a niche series in a niche hobby. And it was only due to the dedication of the fans that supported it and the tireless hard work of the developers that the games improved with each iteration and now finally we have what many consider to be the pinnacle of 2D fighting games, beating out even the likes of Tekken and Street Fighter, Guilty Gear Strive. This has given the series and the game a whole new level of fame which has led to some interesting results. Such as the creation and distribution of the Guilty Gear Strive board game and many other merchandise for fans.
Merchandise for the series has been a major source of revenue since the early days of the original Xrd, but even then most that were available were only made by the developers themselves and were not up to quality with the competition. But now times are different as many third-party companies are making merchandise for the games as it is quite popular. The most recent and popular among these are the plushies made by MakeShip. Yes, you read that right, it is that MakeShip is the online campaign platform for up-and-coming content creators to create merchandise and sell it to their fans directly and transparently. This is why it is so surprising that Arcs Systems Work has partnered with the company to introduce three products that fans can plege for and each of these is a limited-time item meaning that the value of said item is exponentially greater. Talking the plushies they are the following:
Figure 2. Guilty Gear Strive Ramlethal
- Ramlethal Valentine Plush: A soft and native-looking plushie that embodies the spirit of the campaign and character perfectly. As in the most recent game Strive she can shed the chains that bound her to her past and now only lives to enjoy the slow life and the small things in life. She also has her iconic twin swords with her attached to the plushie.
Figure 3. Guilty Gear Strive May
- May Plush: Next we have the bane of every pro player and Johnny, May. A character who to many is the main Maschot of the game series as much as Sol Bad Guy, or it would be more accurate to say she is now the sole maschot as Sol has already retired to building rockets in his backyard. The May Plushie will also have the iconic anchor attached to it.
Figure 4. Guilty Gear Strive Ky Kiske
- Ky Kiske Plush: Lastly we have the second main protagonist of the story and the father of Sin, Ky Kiske. He is one of the three kings of the Human empire and now is doing his best to ensure the era of peace continues.
So to conclude if you wish to acquire any of these plushies then do check out the original website for more information and be quick about it as the stock is very limited. A concept that also happens to fit the core narrative of the game eerily well.
