• The first step in the process is ascertaining the accurate model number of the car in question and making sure the wrap you are trying to apply is compatible with said car model. It is probably the most important step as a mistake here can result in the wrap either being too short or too long.
  
• Second after you have made sure the wrap and car are compatible, you will need to treat the outer surface of the car. By treat, I mean cleaning and cleansing it to make sure there are no dust and debris present on it. As they can result in air pockets being left in the wrap.
  
• The third step is applying the wrap, here the type of wrap affects your process if you have a whole body wrap then it is advised to start from the back to the front as it will allow you to cover the most surface area quickly and easily. But if you have 2 single sideway wraps then follow them from the front to the back for an even spread. Take your time in the process as it will require some time, but do not rush it as the result can be devastating.
  
• Lastly take a flat piece of hard cardboard or a credit card and start going from the end to the front again making sure all the air pockets have been exhumed and that all the nooks of the car are wrapped. For vinyl wraps, you can also use a heat gun to shrink the wrap for a perfect fit.
  
• Lastly now you enjoy the sight of your newly wrapped car, which might not provide any performance boost but sure does look good.
