If you're a new player, chances are you'll find it difficult to decide which pilot to use or unlock for your gaming experience. Well, this guide will try to cover in a general way, the reasons to choose one pilot over another when choosing which one to use or unlock. I have to mention that this is from the technical point of view, I do not want to say that one pilot is better than another or that a pilot does not serve by not appearing here.I also have to say that the guide is not definitive and can vary greatly depending on the style of the player, and the tech you configure for your mecha.
This will be the first part of a series of guides, and will only cover the initial pilots; both Ning and Rom are highly recommended pilots:
Ning (Passive)
Character Talent – Counterstrike Mark
With your Talent you can mark the location of the enemies that attack you regardless of their location and visual obstacles; the duration time of the mark scales with the level.
Advantages:
- If you're a new player in the FPS (First Person Shooter) genre, it can help you get used to finding your enemies when you're attacked by one.
- Marking the location of enemies can help you keep an eye on enemies hiding.
- If you're facing an enemy, the talent brand can help you focus your attention when it comes to targeting.
- It has no cooldown after the brand expires.
- You have to receive at least 1 point of damage for the brand to activate.
- It is a "tactical" Talent, that is, its usefulness depends a lot on the player and how he uses the mechanics of the same.
- It is only activated in pilot mode.
Ning's Mastery is quite simple, permanently increasing up to 210 the maximum DUR of the mecha. If your mecha has 3000 DUR base and 100 Shield, in total it would have 3100 useful durability; with this Mastery the wick would have 3210 DUR base and 100 Shield, a total of 3310 of useful durability.
Advantages:
- If the wick you use is low DUR, this Mastery would help you withstand about 1 more attack of almost any mecha.
- If the wick you use is of high DUR, the Mastery would serve to further increase the useful durability of your mecha.
- If you don't have much experience with the wick you wear, that extra punch that Mastery adds might be of no use.
- The extra DUR 210 are very little if you are looking to get more DUR to fight.
- If the tech you configure does not increase the DUR of the mecha, this 210 will not help much.
Character Talent – Combat Shield
With his Talent you get a shield that increases the maximum life of the player for a period of time after killing an enemy. The amount of shield and the duration time of the same scale with the level.
Advantages:
- For aggressive players, the shield increases your chances of surviving extended combat.
- The shield can help increase the chances of surviving combat against several enemies at the same time or against consecutive combats.
- If your life is at critical levels after killing the enemy, the shield will absorb some of the deadly damage before it expires.
- It has no cooldown once the shield expires.
- The shield is only obtained if you kill an enemy pilot, it is not obtained if you destroy an enemy mecha.
- You can not accumulate the shields, that is, if you kill several enemies in a row the shields will not accumulate, you only get one for each kill and in any case only the duration of the shield is restarted.
- The shield cannot be recovered with bandages.
The Rom Mecha Mestria consists of a reduction of up to 7% of the cooldown for the Mecha Combat Skill.
Advantages:
- It can be combined with tech.
- It works on all mechas.
- Increases the offensive capabilities of the mecha.
- Not all mechas benefit from this Master's Degree.
- If you do not have practice with the wick you will use, then mastery will not do much.
- It has to be complemented with tech so that the reduction of cooldown is noticeable.
- It is complemented by combos or techniques, depending on the wick.
The effectiveness of this guide can vary depending on the skill of the player, as well as his prudence when fighting.
