Based on the Steam version, released on March 25, 2021
A rather curious build I have to say; since it is currently one of the least played wicks (Honestly I have no idea why it is not very used), so it is quite inaccurate to say if the guide will be 100% efficient, but I hope you find it useful and to your liking xd (By the time I'm writing this build, I'm top 195 with Andromeda/Season 5.)Modules
The modules you configure for this guide focus on Andromeda's flight capabilities, just as core II will benefit us.
The Attack module will be to have more ammunition for each cartridge of the main weapon, the Defense module will be to be able to keep us floating longer once we are off, the Evasion module will be to increase the fuel capacity that we will have available to fly.
Tech
The configurations of the tech, are one of the things that I always take longer to think about to have a decent build that adapts as best as possible to the Core of the mecha... In this case the attack tech are focused on the attack at a distance, since we will have a damage bonus when attacking from afar, without forgetting that we will have a slight improvement to reload the main weapon. On the other hand, defense techs are focused on improving the maximum fuel capacity for the mecha.
Pilot
For the pilot that is best suited for this build based on the Core II, it couldn't be more obvious. And that pilot would be andromeda's own pilot; Joanna, who with her anti-mecha ability we can have up to 10% more, for the maximum fuel capacity.
How to use?
Now some things to keep in mind when using this build of Andromeda's Core II:
- Since Andromeda is a low DUR mecha, it would be best to use it at a long distance; in addition to that in that way you can take advantage of the tech of the build.
- While the Core II allows us to refuel while we're flying; the most advisable thing would be that in case it is not necessary to keep flying, we will stay on the ground.
- When you are fighting against enemies, keep in mind how you spend your resources (Weapons and fuel or consumables); since Andromeda is a rather fragile wick.
- When fighting against enemies, if you throw the Andromeda Javelin and manage to cause damage to the enemy, that blow will not activate the passive of the Core II, that is, you will not be able to refuel with the secondary weapon of Andromeda.
- Thanks to the configurations of the build, it will be easier to understand the style of play of Andromeda, given that for the combats we will keep flying, facilitating our offense and hindering the rival offense.
- When you are flying, do not approach the opponent, since the mere fact of flying increases the distance between you and your target by approximately 50m, therefore, it takes much less distance to be able to have the attack bonus of the tech.
- Andromeda's combat ability is not one of movement, it is an evasion skill (Since the distance it travels is very short).
- To facilitate the aim of Andromeda's main weapon, I recommend that you do not stand still when shooting, or that you do not try to shoot in a straight line, it is easier to connect if you shoot while moving diagonally or to the sides (In some parts of the example video you can see what I mean).
- When you start attacking (regardless of which) consider the low speed that Andromeda's attacks have, since, if the target moves you will have to try to predict its trajectory to connect your attacks, especially with the secondary weapon.
Example Video
The effectiveness of this build depends on the skill of each one, as well as the skill of the pilot and the wisdom of each player when looking for fights xd.
