The biggest giant that I found in Eternal Return is actually its crafting system of the item and routes. The developer, Nimble Neuron has literally given new players bread and butter recommended builds for all of the characters as well as the most efficient routes to achieve these builds. The really painful part begins with that you have to start memorizing recipes and parts for the food and the traps in the game. these don't really have recommended pot builds and they are important as time goes on this becomes more complicated because certain items are only found in a certain location on the map meaning you do not only have to cram what the recipes are but you also have to know where to find all of the individual components to craft your food and trap items. Eternal Return's competitive game modes are Solo, Duo, and Squad of three, which are a lot easier to put together chances are one or two people will be willing to try a new game with you but when you have to start looking at three or four people and you have to get them all online at the same time. Things start becoming a little bit more complex when the esports scene also seems to hold both the solo play and the squads play in high regard so whether you are a lone wolf or social gamer there is a nice lane for you to enter into the professional spectrum as well after all this game has a very big career in esports and has many things to offer you.
