Here we introduce you some PvP shooting games that involves gun as a primary attacking way, as of November 2021.
Super Mecha Champions
It is an online PvP game in the battle royale genre, and almost all means of attack are guns so that you can shoot. The difference from Fortnite is that the character graphic designs here are cute. And, instead of building action at important moments in Fortnite, here in this game you summon a machine called a mecha to fight, which has various kinds of skills per each mecha. However, the game between mecha mode and character mode is well balanced, so it is not guaranteed that you can always win by using a mecha. In character mode, weapon like Ion Cannon is as powerful as mecha's weapons. Only the difference between character and mecha is HP difference, mecha has huge HP, but since you are small as you play character, you can hide everywhere and shoot whenever possible. But anyways you will utilize both of them and both all have shooting weapons. Quite a lot of PvP gamers are playing, strongly recommended if you like FPS.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
If you only want to play PvP on PS4, Xbox, or Switch, this is actually a free game. You don't have to pay anything if you want to play PvP only on those platforms. How? The demo version of this game provides free PvP content, and you can enjoy PvP with people who have purchased the full package. However, the available characters are limited. However, the balance of this game is also very good, so there is no problem at all to enjoy PvP even with free content. There is no powercreep thing in this game. Free and paid users performs similar as long as they are good. We opened several pro leagues of this game and there are lots of winners who played free characters. Most parts of the games are gun battles, with less than 25% parts of the game which involves swords or melee weapons.
Phantasy Star Online 2
lthough it is an MMORPG, it is a game with PvP content. It has the smallest PvP population of these 3 games. About half of the game is fought with guns. The game supports various firearms such as sniper and handgun. The PvP of this game is 4vs4 deathmatch in a wide field, and you fight by picking up weapons on the floor at random. There is no guarantee that the weapon will necessarily be a firearm. You could also grab melee weapons. As of November 2021, the current game mode is only one such 4vs4 Deathmatch mode.
Kurtzpel
There is only one type of gun in this game, something like a machine gun. And it fires particles, not bullets. There are various skills, so you can shoot flamethrowers, missiles, etc. PvP supports Deathmatch, League of Legends mode, Domination, etc in the form of either 2vs2 or 4vs4. As it is an MMORPG, thus it also supports dungeons and raids, but it is clearly distinguished from PvP, so the PvE equipment does not affect PvP performance (except for costumes and accessories that are very easily available to anyone for free. There are no item grades such as rare or unique, so everything has same or similar ability and very easy to get). Kurtzpel also has as much population as Super Mecha Champions in terms of PvP players.
