Here is a list of PvP Team Games that support 3vs3, 4vs4 or more:
Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist (up to 4vs4, PC & PS4)
Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist is a PvP Team Games that supports up to 4vs4. There is only one global server, but instead, people from all over the world can play together, so it is easy to find someone who can enjoy PvP together. (Based on PS4 version in 2021. PC version may vary). I don't particularly experience noticeable lag from this. You can play as a given character from an existing anime, or you can create your own character and customize skills and weapons. However, no matter what you do, the game mechanic is very well organized except for only few characters portraited as strong characters in anime such as Kaneki and Arima, the balance is very similar and the level of customization is also very wide. Various types of weapons such as guns, swords, and special body-attached weapons appear. The game supports story mode, co-op and PvP leaderboards.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (up to 4vs4, PC & PS4 & Xbox & Switch)
This game supports up to maximum4vs4. It's literally a StarWars-like PvP Team Game with lightsabers and firearms. A regular competition is held every week through the AEG Pro League, and the game mode also supports various modes such as team deathmatch and boss fight, and more than 5 types of PvP maps. Among the PvP Team Games listed here, it is one of those games with a significant number of players. If you only want to play PvP, you can download the demo version and play it for free. Do not worry. Just because a game is free doesn't mean that paid players outperform free players. The game balance is pretty good.
Super Mecha Champions (up to 5vs5 or Battle Royale, PC & Mobile)
In case of team deathmatch, it supports up to 5vs5, and in addition, it supports the Battle Royale game mode something similar to Fortnite. During the game, you will use a mecha, and if the mecha runs out of its HP, you will fight as a pilot using a gun, and if the pilot dies, then finally it counts as a kill. Currently, it has the most players among the games introduced here, and it is completely free.
Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash (up to 5vs5, PC & PS4)
It supports up to 5vs5, and it is a game where you can create your own deck using cards and choose one of several weapons to enjoy the battle. It supports several game modes such as Capture the Flag, Domination, and Team Deathmatch, and there are many PvP maps available.
